As another example, I was having dinner with my mother at a buffet the other day and sitting on the table beside ours was this spoiled little brat that was screaming at his parents. He wanted a Wii for Christmas a lot, and he was disrupting everyone's dinner in a two-table radius, by crying hysterically because his parents told him the painful truth of a Wii actually costing a lot of money. Horrible, horrible stuff, and I'm glad I don't know any kids personally that are like that.

Kids like that are the product of this society and their parents. We've always made an effort to deny our kids occasional things so that they get used to the feeling. As a result they are grateful children.
I hate all this rampant materialism.
if i did that .. my mom would spank me bad...
that kid needs some spanking =_=
Mulled Vine: Good point, it's the parents' fault. What's worse are the greedy adults that haven't grown up yet.
b for bhisan: Mhm.
I agree with Mulled Wine, exactly that.
b for bhisan, I'm too old to be spanked.
That kid needs his Wii plugged in where the sun don't shine.
Mike, I agree, I hate it too... Makes me wonder what the NEXT generation is gonna be like?

AV: Hopefully, there will be enough of us people who realize the decrimental effects of greed. Only then will we be able to create a better future.
